Mon Aug 28, 2006, 10:48 AM
12 hours 13 Minutes left to get your submissions in.

I put up a NEWS ARTICLE Please +heart it too keep it up for everyone.

The contest is going strong and submissions are beginning to roll in. Keep them coming people and remember to embrace the theme.

"ALL" software capable of making fractals are allowed.

INTRODUCTION

It is time once again to put your creative juices to work. Coming off the success and enjoyment of my my first contest I have decided to put forth a new contest and a new challenge for you to sink your teeth into. As the first challenge revolved around a song and specific image guidelines this time around I want to allow you to be free, interpret the theme and create art coming from within.

If you are jumping in your potato sack right about now, keep reading for the contest theme, rules and guidelines and other tidbits of useful information.

Dig deep, be vulnerable, and express yourself.

Good luck to you all

THEME

Seduction, something that seduces or has the qualities to seduce; an enticement. Feel free to interpret the theme any way you like. Maybe there is a really nice donut on the counter over there that you really want, it’s the girl or guy winking their eyes at you from across the bar, it’s the darkest part of the closest you just have to explore. It is open for your interpretation completely. Don’t be afraid to express the dark part of seduction as well as the lighter side.

What I do ask of you is that you reach deep to find a feeling powerful and meaningful then portray that feeling in your artwork.

The feeling may be temporary or long lasting, short or going on forever. It is all up to you. The challenge is to make us feel how you feel through your art.

I submitted this journal less than 1 hour ago, there is no entries.

Great prizes, great theme. It should be a nice challenge, I hope it might get people to do something a bit more meaningful with their own conscious design and creative choices through the whole process, instead of the lame random fractal stuff that's made in like 10 minutes. :p I'll look forward to seeing the entries.

I'll pimp this contest in my journal if you don't mind. :)

Of course please do. I agree, i find that everything i do is worth doing because it means something. I feel the same way about my art. Passion creates art.
:iconleaf-lover:
Well, my fractal art is still pretty abysmal but I think I'll enter. It can't hurt to help with the practice etc.
