INTRODUCTION
Contest finished, judging process has began, good luck to all
I decided to hold and sponsor my own apophysis fractal contest. I have been wanting to do this for a long time and now that christmas has passed and people are getting back into the swing of things, it is time to put our creative minds to the chopping block so to speak.
The contest as you already figured out will involve the fractal program Apophysis, so if you have a copy, you better keep on reading.
Ok, so your probably wondering what this is all about, and your in luck because i will tell you.
I picked a song, one which is imprinted in my head since a certain someone sent it too me. The song is about heartbreak, yes yes i know sad right? But the thing is we have all dealt with this at some point in our lives. Heartbreak creates passion and passion in return creates beautiful artwork.

RULES AND GUIDELINES
Image must be done using ApophysisImage option #1 Must be grey scale with blue or shades of blue
Image Option #2 Must be greyscale with red or shades of red.
* Image can then only be greyscale+blue or greyscale+red but not greyscale+blue+red.
POSTWORK
No manipulation of fractals. It has to be done 100% in the program. No warping/filtering will be accepted. Postwork allowed will be limited too border and title as well as minor changes such as an overlay layer to enhance color/clarity in the fractal. DEADLINE
Friday, the 20th of January at 12:00 PM PST.
Any submissions not entered before this time will not be able to participate in the contest.
SUBMISSION
Once you have finished your piece, NOTE ME.
Please title the note "Fractal Art Contest" and inside the note include the link(url) to your artwork.
JUDGING
Judging will take place after the 20th and the winners will be announced within 3 days or less.
The panel includes myself and 2 other judges whom i respect and are exceptional artists in there own right.
The judges will remain secret because i like the aura of mystery.
PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded too the people finishing in the top 3.
1st Prize: One year subscription to deviantart
2nd Prize: Three month subscription to deviantart
3rd prize: One month subscription to deviantart
